We’ve been busy here at D&C Wood Designs working on new projects and keeping our booth stocked at The Shoppes on Main in Salado, Texas. With everything happening in the shop, we haven’t done the best job of keeping our website updated, and we apologize for that.


The good news is that we’re working on changing that.


We’re currently updating the website and building out our online store so you’ll be able to purchase select D&C Wood Designs products directly from us and have them shipped to you without needing to visit our booth in Salado.


We’re also creating a better way for customers to contact us about custom woodworking, personalized signs, CNC projects, laser engraving, and other one-of-a-kind pieces that may not be available in our booth or online store. If you have an idea for something custom, we want the website to make it easier to get in touch with us and start that conversation.


And there’s more coming. We’ve had quite a few people ask about D&C Wood Designs merchandise, so we’re looking at adding some branded merchandise to the website as well.


Thank you to everyone who has continued to support us, visit our booth, place custom orders, and follow what we’re doing. We truly appreciate your patience while we get everything updated.


We recently moved our website to a new platform, so we’re still learning our way around and getting everything set up the way we want it. There may be a few changes along the way, but we have more products, projects, and updates coming soon.

Growing up in a quaint small town, familiarity was the norm. I was no exception to this tight-knit community ethos. Brian, a dear friend since junior high, shared in countless memories with me. From our days on the football field to adventurous downhill skiing trips, weekends filled with card games, and good-natured teasing of his sisters, we epitomized the essence of small-town camaraderie.

Tragically, Brian's life was cut short in 2014 due to a snowmobile accident. Our bond extended beyond mere friendship; we were both dedicated volunteer firefighters, committed to serving our community for over a decade. As I reflect on our shared experiences, I realize the profound impact Brian had on my life.

In honor of his memory, I crafted a special flag, imbued with sentimental significance. Four flags were meticulously created—one for his mother, his sisters, and his beloved son. Each stitch and color choice carried a weight of emotion, a tribute to the indelible mark Brian left on all who knew him.

Rest in peace, Gilly. Your legacy lives on in the hearts of those you touched.
